A NEW CONCEPT OF BEAUTY, BASED ON THE BOTANIC RESEARCH & EXPERIENCE, WITHOUT CHEMICAL PRODUCTS, BUT ONLY VEGETAL HEALTY PLANTS & HERBS

The Aloe Arborescens of the Mortola’s Gardens
Aloe Arborescens is a succulent plant from the family of aloacee, known and used since ancient times as a medicinal plant with strong healing and detoxifying.
This plant prefers temperate zones nearby the sea and while being able to survive in very arid areas, it can withstand temperatures below zero degrees.
It is genetically very strong and durable. It grows forming shrubs that can reach four meters in height with hundreds of tufts and is characterized by beautiful inflorescences orange-red.
Among the 400 species of aloe, "arborescens" has emerged as a plant with great interest preventive and therapeutic.
Research has shown an impressive biological action, with a significant clinical impact also in patients with serious diseases.
The active ingredients contained in the leaves of this plant (especially if coming from naturally grown plants and not from industrial crops) are more than a hundred, including essential amino acids, vitamins (including A, C, E and those of group B), lipids and minerals.
Particularly, between the active ingredients contained into the leaves of this valuable plant, can be cited: the barbaloin and aloetic acid with antibiotic, antibacterial, antiviral and analgesic properties; lignin, saponins (cleansing action and antiseptic), crisofanic acid and cinnamic acid, which have antifungal effects. Still, the B vitamins, beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, folic acid and choline. Some essential amino acids (valine, methionine, leucine, isoleucine, phenylalanine) and others (aspartic acid, glutamic acid and arginine). Finally, several enzymes: oxidase, catalase, amylase, alinasi.
The rare minerals contained into the aloe leaves (potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, chromium, copper and manganese) are constituents of enzymes (superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase) which act as antioxidant agents and cells anti aging.
Even vitamins (especially C, E, B2 and B6) and the nonessential amino acid, cysteine, are powerful antioxidants capable of combating the cellular damage caused by free radicals. In fact, they are able to bind to toxic molecules arising from pathological processes to form inert compounds. The nonessential amino acid proline, is a constituent part of the collagen. Saponins promote a better and faster exfoliation and cell turnover.
